About
I am currently completing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Neuroscience with a minor in Mental Health at the University of Lethbridge. My academic journey has honed my problem-solving and analytical skills while providing a solid foundation in psychology. I am passionate about understanding how factors such as upbringing, trauma, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and mental health conditions shape individuals' personalities and behaviours.
My goal is to become a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Registered Psychologist, where I can apply evidence-based approaches to support clients' growth and well-being. I believe my background in neuroscience and mental health uniquely positions me to excel in the Master of Education in Counselling Psychology program. This opportunity aligns with my commitment to fostering resilience and promoting mental health in diverse communities.
