• Perform preliminary tests including visual acuity, lensometry, and auto-refraction
• Assist ophthalmologists with patient examinations and minor surgical procedures such as chalazion excision,Intravitreal Injections etc.
• Instilling eye drops (cyclopentolate, ocular anesthesia , tropicamide, phenylephrine etc).
• Conduct diagnostic tests such as visual field testing, OCT imaging, Tonometry, Slit lamp etc
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems.
• Direct patient care to ensure the clinic runs efficiently and patients are seen promptly.
• Sterilize and maintain ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
• Triaging and getting patients ready for Laser Procedures such as YAG CAPS, SLT, PRP, LPI etc. 
• Collaborate with the front desk concerning patients when needed. 
• Educate patients on eye care procedures, medications, and post-operative care
