Hello! My name is Rachel and I am a 3rd year 2d Animation student at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. I have experience in the food service industry, and have therefore been able to refine my communication and customer service skills over the years. I have also had much experience in different artistic fields, and am familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud software.
As someone with experience in customer service, I believe that I bring a valuable set of skills and contributions to this environment. I have worked in many different front of house positions, so I am comfortable talking to new people and taking the time to communicate and help them with anything they may need. This communication along with my people-centric nature and compassion have made me well equipped to face potential challenges or conflicts in social settings.
While studying at ECU, I have been able to develop my animation skills and general techniques as an artist. I have won multiple awards for my animation films, which have been featured in many different film festivals throughout Vancouver.
