Throughout my 20+ years of Canadian and international experience, I lead various projects in strategic planning, performance measurement, policy research and analysis in the health, safety and environment sectors. That experience equipped me with strong skills in stakeholder relationships and engagement.
My career has revolved around promoting and advocating for evidence-based decisions and the impact of informed long term policy development on citizens’ outcomes at all levels.
During my years of experience at the New Brunswick Health Council (NBHC), I leveraged my expertise and energy to drive growth, influence change; lead, direct and manage projects and deliverables effectively and successfully.
My background extends over 20 years with international experience in Dubai, Beirut and New Brunswick-Canada, working in different sectors like Government, private sector, and academia. I excelled in different types of functions mainly strategic planning; policy research, analysis, and development; performance management; as well as consulting, academic research, and knowledge production.
I successfully lead a team of analysts at the New Brunswick Health Council through the COVID-19 phase, supporting the team’s resiliency during the transition in various projects through mentorship and coaching, and ensuring continuity and effective delivery on the mandate of the council. I have contributed to the growth of the Council’s portfolio and the expansion in our various citizen centered surveys.
Passion to drive change, thinking outside the box, contribution to team work, provision of insights and subject matter expertise have always been among my assets and competencies throughout my career.
Being a life-long learner, I have also invested in myself, building my skills in management through the “Modern Day Management” Course at Université de Moncton; and in leadership and public speaking through enrolling and getting certified as a trainer, coach and speaker by the John Maxwell Team.
