Shannon Differ

I am currently in the process of completing my Primary Care Paramedic Diploma through CTS Canada Career College in Barrie, ON. I have a BSc. in Sport and Exercise Science from Gannon University in Erie, PA. I played four years of collegiate soccer and served as a captain my senior year.

I am currently working as part of the healthcare team at Centres for Health and Healing, an inpatient mental health and addictions facility in Vaughn, ON. I've worked for four years in outpatient settings as a Personal Support Worker, as well as a Physiotherapy Assistant. I am currently a volunteer Assistant Coach, Goalkeeper Coach, and part of the Female Mentorship Program at the Barrie Soccer Club.

As a healthcare clinician I mastered the ability to be professional while building rapport with my patients, to ensure progress as well as compliance. I am confident that my time as an athlete and now as a coach solidified the importance of teamwork, communication as well as conflict resolution.
