My name is Tessa Beyerlein (27) and I am from Düsseldorf, Germany. I moved to Canada in 2017 and obtained my Canadian Permanent Residency November 2019.
From September 2013 until June 2017, I lived in Italy and I graduated from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy in November 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Sport and Event Management. As such, I am fluent in German, English and Italian. Upon my graduation, I received the Dean’s List Award.
I was a member of the Tourism Management Club 2016/2017, a program at the Free University of Bolzano. My team and I organized several events, which covered topics of the tourism sector. To ensure these events were successful, it was not only important to have proficient time management, solid work ethics within a team environment, but also to be reliable.
I spent and studied a number of years abroad and through that I have gained significant knowledge about Canadian culture and skills related to living abroad. I also have excellent interpersonal abilities and am able to easily build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and of all ages (due to my many experiences abroad).
My German background provides me with precision and great attention to detail, but more importantly strong planning skills. Being a professional day trader for several years has taught me to be disciplined and self-motivated. I also gained really strong computer skills and developed independent thinking which can be utilized in any business.
