An Information Systems Business Analyst that offers an innovative approach to improving company processes and systems. A Business Analyst with over 6 years of experience in IT and Financial services domains including banking, insurance, and telecommunication sectors. I have an exquisite approach towards requirements management, project coordination, business modelling through understanding context, quality assurance and business process improvement by assessing client needs. I have excellent communication skills with a knack to capture both spoken and implied phrases into understanding, interpreting, and delivering solutions through discussions and documentation. I undertake descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive data analytics using various data visualization and data modelling tools. I apply various elicitation techniques to gathering requirements, analyzing them, defining user stories and acceptance criteria, functional requirements documentation (FRD), process flow diagrams (BPMN, UML), UI/UX designs, requirements signing off, walking through Dev and QA teams, unit testing, demo sessions, testing prepared data and supporting in user and business acceptance testing (UAT/BAT). I have a great understanding of SDLC/PDLC process and experience in both Agile and Waterfall frameworks as a Business Analyst. I facilitate and participate in various sprint ceremonies from planning to the retrospective phases and continuous improvements through the lessons learnt. I engage with all the stakeholders on various levels of the product development phases including initiating to implementing product strategy by engaging product owners, vendors, solution architects, developers, testers.
I have an Academic Diploma in Business Analysis from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems Business Analysis from George Brown College, a Sales Enablement & Analytics Certificate from Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and an MBA in Finance from the University of the Punjab.
