I combine analytical thinking with common sense application to keep businesses running smoothly. I always enjoy learning new skills, and I welcome the chance to become a point of reference to help others as well.
To summarize, I focus on the support of Hardware and software via remote or in-person methods. I have built and maintained computers and peripherals for many years outside of my career with Hamilton Health Sciences, and since then, I have worked with IT First Aid with the end-user support of multiple computers and peripherals on LAN and WAN configurations. Included in the role, was also data recovery, hardware break-fix methods, software patching and bug reporting, and also with networking installations and troubleshooting.
I have focused mainly on Windows OS as well as Linux OS troubleshooting, with some Mac OS exposure as well. In my current role at Visual Information Systems, this is an expanded role that includes troubleshooting and maintenance of all proprietary hardware and software, as well as the troubleshooting of Windows OS components as well. Everything is included in this role, such as networking, installations of hardware, software and all related peripherals, and end-user remote and on-site troubleshooting.
I attended Niagara College for Computer Engineering Technology and since then, I have focused on upskilling on my own through various courses on the Coursera and Udemy platforms.
