With a formal background in public relations, Yuwei is looking for opportunities in communications, social media management, or relevant fields. Here are the main areas of expertise Yuwei will bring to the future team:

• Social media management and content creation. In the student-led charity fundraising campaign, Yuwei created a fourth-month content calendar and drafted posts to promote the campaign on social media. The campaign successfully raised over $40,000 for the local charity. 

• Strategy development. Yuwei was part of the team which suggested a communications plan for a local Indigenous organization to help them launch a program. Yuwei and her teammates identified the right audience, developed strategies and tactics to achieve the goal, and found the best way to reach the audience. In the end, the proposal from their group was adopted by the client.

Yuwei graduated from public relations which is a joint program with University of Ottawa and Algonquin College. During the school, she made the Dean's List and recceived Merit Scholarship.
