Julian Gujer

I acquired a master's in Biomedical Engineering from ETHZ with the Track Bioelectronics and Biosensors. In my internship and projects during my studies, I focused on R&D, especially sensor development covering optical, biological, and chemical sensing methods. Now I want to use my extensive interdisciplinary knowledge to develop the solutions for tomorrows problems today.

Internship in R&D for a Total Organic Carbon Sensor, Sensirion

• Development of novel fluid sensor to measure organic carbon
• Develop experiments to assess sensors and analysis of data acquired
• Solve hardware and software issues to improve sensors
• Produce sample sensors and continue development through customer feedback

• Plan and supervise chemistry experiments for students
• Work as a team to ensure save conduct and good working conditions in the lab
• Give feedback on scientific writing

• Perform measurements and olfactory analysis of samples to ensure optimal quality of fragrance oils and other products

• Continue the research topic of Bachelor Thesis
• Production, measurement and analysis of metamaterial networks
