Through out the past 19 years, my architectural practice has been a mix of a multi-cultural multi-intellect experiences. starting to work with Egyptian great architects and professors of architecture such as prof. Dr.
Gabr, Prof. Dr. Alaa Sarhaan and meeting with great figures like Prof. Dr.
Zahran, and Prof. Dr.
Badran.
All of this has defined my early beginning in architecture. but being young and wanting to know, I was eager to earn more knowledge about my field. that drove me to have a dual jobs in different fields. as I was engaging in architectural and urban knowledge from my first mentor Dr.
Gabr, I also joined Talent decoration team as an interior designer and that actually made me enjoy my work more and helped in forming my architectural character.
Still wanting more led me to travel and seek a bigger challenges in KSA and there I joined ACT team. what an experience, the founder of this great firm was Prof. Dr.
Hassan (an Iraqi American). this man ran with the titans ;) he was one of walter gropius's team in TAC "The Architects Collaborative" and he was a Harvard alumni and last but not least a vice president in HOK. with expirience like his this man was an encyclopedia himself, working with him was an honor and added much to me and formed the solid core of my architectural character, believing in team work approach and knowing deep in my heart that ARCHITECTURE IS NOT A PROFESSION ITS A WAY OF LIFE.
Returning back to Egypt where I worked with Shahira fahmy for a short period and then I decided enough with architectural and urban design experience for now and its time to learn more about interior and execution so I returned to Talent decoration again and I was responsible for Cairo's work, then trying my own luck through hard times after the revolution I started my own practice, in 2015 I started design and build where I applied all the knowledge gained to creat a unique multi fields firms starting from Design, contracting and Facility management. We managed in design and build to deliver an exceptional services to big names like Emaar as we acquired the facility management civil contract for the years 2017, 18, 19 and 2021.
Through all of this journey I learned alot about my passion. I tested it on all aspects, and through good and worse this passion never faded
