My name is Christina Shehadeh and I am from the beautiful island of Cyprus. I am proud to be a graduate student of the University of Cyprus. My passion for education led me to pursue a degree in primary teaching with specializations in Maths and PE. Now, I am fortunate to be working at El Limonar International School in Murcia, Spain. This esteemed school, accredited by the CIS, has provided me with a remarkable platform to expand my knowledge and gain valuable experience.
At El Limonar International School Murcia, my role encompasses various responsibilities. I am entrusted with covering for absent teachers, offering extra English lessons to students who require additional support, and conducting enriching PE classes. Additionally, I am responsible for ensuring the smooth running of break and lunch periods.
Beyond my teaching qualifications, I possess a profound passion for sports and continuous learning. I hold two lifeguard certificates, which prove to be immensely helpful in providing first aid, particularly during PE classes. Furthermore, my experience as a competitive swimmer until the age of 18 has instilled in me a strong work ethic and discipline.
In addition to my sports-related pursuits, I have also acquired two diving certificates, both the classic and advanced levels, granted by NAWI. I embrace the opportunity to explore different cultures and meet new people, which aligns perfectly with my love for traveling. Moreover, my enthusiasm for languages has enabled me to be fluent in Greek, which is my mother tongue, as well as English and Spanish.
Overall, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to combine my passion for teaching, sports, and cultural exploration in my current role, and I am excited to continue my journey of growth and learning as an educator at your esteemed school.
