Mike Libera

Senior engineer with nearly a decade of experience across Python development, data/ETL, automation, infrastructure and telecommunications. Since 2018, I have developed and maintained backend automations and integrations in a large international telecom environment, connecting internal platforms and third-party services to improve delivery, operations and customer support processes. My main focus is Python-based automation, ETL and orchestration, including leading the adoption of Apache Airflow as a department-wide orchestration platform.

I also have hands-on experience with AWS EMR/PySpark, Django-based services, CI/CD, Docker/OpenShift, VMware and enterprise APIs. My earlier experience in network engineering gives me a strong understanding of TCP/IP, enterprise infrastructure and network automation, allowing me to work comfortably across software, data and infrastructure teams.
