Work Experience - VOHRA STORES
(2017-09 - 2018-08)
I did a year's worth of work experience in a newsagent which I took the initiative to look for myself. I have done a mixture of morning and night shifts under supervision. In this environment I gained an insight into the different types of people you meet on a day to day basis as you learn that no two are the same. I also guaranteed that the service the customer received was to the best of my ability and in return I had developed my social and employment skills.
Work Experience - FAIRWOOD'S SOLICITORS
(2018-07 - 2018-07)
I completed 2 weeks work experience at Fairwood's solicitors in which I shadowed a different person every day. I worked a 9-5 shift and learnt what would go on a day to day basis, along with my opinion being asked if I thought clients were telling the truth with their personal injury and how I could prove what they were saying was right by using various documents. I also sorted the mail and scanned important documents.
This gave me an insight on all the different cases that were active and what must be done on all the cases to try and prevent going to a hearing as it would be easier if parties agreed on the payment owed to the claimant.
