s a cover supervisor with a primary focus on Physical Education at The Stonehenge School, I have developed a strong foundation in managing student groups, promoting positive behavior, and inspiring young people to engage in sport. I am now seeking an opportunity to apply these skills in a dedicated coaching role to further my experience and contribute to your program.
My daily responsibilities at The Stonehenge School have equipped me with practical skills directly transferable to coaching. I am adept at managing diverse groups of students, from Years 7 to 11, in dynamic environments like sports halls and playing fields. A key part of my role is ensuring the safety of all participants through diligent risk assessment and strict adherence to school policies.
I have experience in effectively communicating complex rules and instructions for various sports and have a proven ability to motivate students to participate fully and develop their skills, regardless of their athletic ability. I am confident in my ability to manage behavior, de-escalate conflicts, and maintain a productive and respectful environment.
What I find most rewarding about my current role is the opportunity to foster a love for physical activity. I am passionate about the positive impact sport can have on a young person's development, from building confidence and teamwork to promoting a healthy lifestyle. I am eager to develop my coaching ability as well as simultaneously teaching physical education at The Stonehenge School.
