Hi, I'm Alix, I'm a professional dancer who is bubbly and polite. I'm a hard worker and I am always up for a challenge and will do my very best to achieve what has been asked to the best of my ability. I have worked hard to achieve three high grade A levels in varying subjects and also a BA hone degree.

I am very creative and I am great at problem solving and I always strive to make the most of every situation and or problem and effectively find solutions to get the job done. I am very caring and as a result I always try my hardest to produce the best result and make people happy and content! Due to my background in dance I am very detailed oriented, disciplined and determined.

I worked as a professional dancer on board AIDA nova cruise ship. In this job role I worked very hard at ensuring standards of the shows were always consistent and very high, and ensured my skills were always kept to high standards in dance, Ariel and acrobatic work. I ensured morale of the cast was high and supported my team whenever necessary and however necessary. I worked hard to ensure guests were entertained and happy on board.

Sales Assistant at NIKE-Mansfield (2025-04 – 2025-12)

In this job I was responsible for visually merchandising the store in order to promote sales and promote customer foot fall. I worked closely with management to ensure smooth running of the store. I helped to cash up and open and close the store.

I also was important in working with the customers to help them with their needs and ensure they received a high level of service. I helped to lead and delegate a team of sales assistants in order to get jobs done and also to ensure smooth running of the store.

Professional Dancer at AIDA Cruises-Hamburg (2024-08 – 2025-03)

I worked on board the AIDA Cosma as a glam dancer. In this role I performed in the production shows every evening entertaining guests in high quality and high budget productions. I interacted with guests (who predominantly spoke German) in both English and German as best as I could in order to help them with any needs.

I performed in the parade on board in which we performed and interacted with children. On board I adapted to every role and job I was given whether that was checking in guests, taking part in other entertainment on an evening and even swinging in when other performers were injured or ill.

Within this job role i interacted with customers in a professional and friendly manner and helped them in any way in a profession capacity. I made personalised drinks for customers to the highest standard I could and always made sure they were to customer satisfaction. I ensured the shop/cafe looked it best and was hygienic at all times and dis whatever I could to help out fellow colleagues.

Professional Dancer at P&O Cruises Carnival UK (2023-06 – 2024-03)

On board P&O Ventura i worked along side a team of talented individuals to provide service and experience our guests deserved. My discipline and hard working nature allowed me to continue to grow and work on my skills and therefore allowed me to continuously improve my performance throughout my time on board. I was tasked with performing difficult shows most nights for the guests and take part in teaching dance classes to our passengers.

Within this job role, I would be in charge ringing my clients and speaking to them about what their needs, wants and wishes are for their event, whether this be a children's party, a wedding, or a christening etc. I would collate all the details and plan a party that caters to these needs. I would then commute to the party and set up my whole rig.

From this job I learnt how to communicate with people of all ages. I learnt how to entertain and keep the concentration of children of all ages and I also learnt how to deal with difficult behaviour.

I worked here at waterworks festival in 2021 as bar staff. Here I learnt key team work skills in order to quickly take orders and work with other team members to get the orders out quickly and effectively. Furthermore, we had to learn all skills on the day which helped with my skill pick up. I loved worked in this job and really enjoyed further developing my hospitality and bar skills.

Customer Assistant at Lidl-Thorne (2020-03 – 2020-08)

In this job role I had to quickly and effectively replace stock on the shelves, while attending to any needs the customers may have on the shop floor. I also had to efficiently serve customers at the till. Furthermore, I also worked in the bakery in which I had to swiftly prepare the food, bake it snd serve it ready for the customers to purchase throughout the day.

In this role I was very attentive and worked well as part of the team in order for the entire shop to run smoothly. Unfortunately I had to leave this job due to me moving to university, or I would have stayed.

Assistant Dance Teacher at Cheryl jones school of dance-Doncaster (2016-09 – 2019-09)

Within this role I connected with children from the ages of 2-7 helping them express themself through dance and teach them discipline while maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere, where they felt safe to explore their love of dance. I helping children with special needs and disabilities, such as hearing impairments and autism, helping them feel safe in the environment and catering to their needs to enable them to get the most out of the classes.

In this job I worked to sell school uniform at my school. This required me to handle cash and card payments, it required me to b we able to assist the customers in any way they needed, fitting children for their uniform and replenishing the stock whenever it was needed.

I worked in an Interflora florist as an apprentice and learned about the florist industry. I helped prep bouquets and helped to collate all the necessary elements needed to create large amounts of flower orders ready for Easter and Mother's Day.
