I am currently a first year undergraduate at Manchester Metropolitan University, studying Fashion Communications. I am looking for a part time job to fill my spare time and to gain more experience in the retail workplace.
Last year I have completed my A levels at Shrewsbury College’s Group. I have always had a passion for being creative, hence my choice in studying graphics and photography at A level.
Attingham Park assistant National Trust OCTOBER 2020-DECEMBER 2020
I did my work experience whilst volunteering at Attingham Park as part of my DofE award. I was an assistant in the Halloween department helping visitors carve pumpkins and then as a children’s entertainer in the Christmas time in Santa’s Grotto. This experience helped increase my confidence and I loved having the opportunity to meet and talk to new people of all ages.
Working as a receptionist for a few weeks increased my confidence of talking to people in person and over the phone. This job taught me new skills such as, organisation for when booking clients in for appointments and good time management.

For my work experience, whilst studying my A-Levels at Shrewsbury College, I took the opportunity to work for my College’s marketing team. I completed tasks such as make posts for the social media accounts, which got posted across all platforms, as well as some client research.
Waitress Flame and Flute JUNE 2021-FEBRUARY 2022
Flame and Flute was my first job in hospitality. I felt dedicated and passionate about making the guests of the restaurant feel welcomed and to have the best experience possible. Being a waitress has taught me how to be adaptable to different situations.

My most recent job was working as a Waitress at Hickory’s. I was often on host, greeting guests at the door, I enjoyed this role most as I love meeting and talking to new people. Waitressing has gained not only my confidence but my organisation skills, doing things in a certain order to make each task more productive.
