Person-centered integrative therapist with a zest for working with students. I have experience and joy of seeing students excel, move past mental health difficulties and live a full life. A key to a good experience is a good therapeutic relationship and that is what I work to invest in every day. Student advancement is important to me and so I work in a person-centered and integrative way that is appropriate to the student and the stage of counselling. Working to empower students and see issues in a new light while appreciating the importance of cultural awareness, dynamics and differences. My work is tailored to the individual and the unique story they bring.
I have experience working with students with complex needs as well as liaising with teachers, principals and parents to create a student plan for progression, taking their mental health needs in to account.
I also have experience working with students from various cultures in a one to one capacity as a therapist for four years now.
BACP Qualified, Advanced Diploma in Integrative person-centered counselling. Stage 5. Advanced.
UKCP Qualified- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy-Stage 4.
