Current Dante Labs CEO Andrea Riposati has a dense business background. In years past, Andrea Riposati served as a project leader and consultant for Amazon, the chairman of Muse Technologies, and has also worked as a leader and consultant for IBM and Booz & Company. During his time at Amazon, Riposati launched 3D printing at the company.
Andrea Riposati believes in the importance of educating the next generation of business, and served as a faculty member of the Department of Economics at Harvard University. Riposati earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his Master of Science degree from Università Bocconi.
Dante Genomics is known for creating genomic solutions that meld science and healthcare in ways that positively affect patient lives. Dante offers several tests to customers and healthcare organizations, including whole genome testing, specific reports on genetic health conditions, and a lab-in-a-box option that allows patients to go through medical testing at their own convenience.
In addition to his impressive business and educational backgrounds, Riposati is also known as an innovator and holds three patents: one for a method and system to protect personal genetic data, one for a method and system for replacing the idle screen of a mobile device, and one for a method and system for replacing and refreshing the idle screen of a mobile device.
Riposati's career has been celebrated by many. He won the HBS TOM Shad Competition at Harvard in 2007 as well as the HBS Dynamic Markets Competition at Harvard in December of 2008. In 2019, Riposati was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the startup category for Dante Labs.
