A tenacious, caring and hard-working young person (16 years old), who strives to be an exceptional addition to any future career pathways. Responsible and adaptable to all work conditions, with an industrious mindset nurtured through developed academic resilience and ambition. Hoping to gain experience of life as a working citizen and learn new skills from other people, beyond the classroom and develop independence, in terms of finance and maturity.
Due to age and academics, only open to jobs with flexible timetables, (e.g holidays, weekends and evenings).
I have had some experience in work related environments; where I did one week’s work experience last year, at a Bakerhick’s office in Central London,
focussing on engineering and architecture. By the end of the work experience, I had been taken under the wing of a qualified architect (who acted as a mentor during my time there); produced a potential start to my portfolio (if I were to study architecture in the future); quickly adjusted to the environment; and, was told by my manager to contact her in the future, if I should choose to become an architect and needed a job or recommendation.
Through this, I was able to develop my communication skills and teamwork skills (where I was able to share ideas and respond efficiently to the critique, rules and information shared by others), which can also be applied to any type of work.
As I am 16, I have just finished secondary school and my GCSEs (I am predicted top grades in all of them) and so I am now fully free to work for the next 3 months and then, once started sixth form, every weekend or holiday, etc.
