I have 6 years experience in Customer Relations, which has enabled me to attain a thorough and confident working attitude and exemplary interpersonal skills. I have a passion for musical performing arts, specifically singing and self taught guitar and piano, which i develop in my free time by participating in competitions and live music events. My work ethic negotiates a balance between being highly organised and time efficient as my previous and current jobs have relied on a well tuned ability to meet company standards and procedures in time sensitive situations.
I have worked within customer relations in a multitude of different roles over the last 6 years. My first job involved serving and accommodating to customers in a high volume independent cafe, in hopes to expand my skill set and follow my enjoyment for high pressure environments i joined Hand Picked Hotels' ‘Stanbrook Abbey’ in 2017 as a Food and Beverages assistant. This job has allowed me to develop both professionally and personally by offering a non-exhaustive range of training opportunities; and it is within this sort of fast pace and adaptive role that i thrive.
As a reliable and high skilled member of staff i am given the responsibility of managing employee training for new recruits and offering continuous guidance and mentorship on duties and practices. During the pandemic i chose to extend my skills further by working in different sector of customer relations at Sainsburys for 15 months. During this time i turned my hand to a multitude of different roles which resulted in me being trained and comprehensive across every department including but not limited to stock assistant, trading assistant and online assistant.
I returned to Stanbrook Abbey in the Summer of 2021 due to missing the level of personal rapport building and ‘problem solving’ aspects that come with a hospitality. Given the genuine love and skill set i have developed in staff and customer intercommunications, onboard training and development and organisational management i believe i am in a strong position to begin a career within the Human Resources division so i can showcase my abilities in a cohesive and highly professional manner.
I achieved all of my GCSE's A*-B and during this period of study i developed a flair for English Literature. In college i undertook this subject alongside A level Biology and a Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Business in which i received the highest qualification. After College i attended university as a BA Hons student in English Literature and i am set to graduate this summer with an Upper Division 2:1.
