Trainee Financial Planner/Career changer

I’ve achieved much during an almost 30-year career in economic analysis and public financial management. However, I haven’t yet harnessed my life-long interest in personal finance and so at the mid-life juncture, I’m changing career to become a financial planner. I’ve recently completed the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (awaiting the RO 6 result having passed the other five ROs).
I am very keen to start climbing the steep learning curve buoyed by my boundless reserves of energy and enthusiasm.
I have almost 30 years of work experience: over 24 years working in large public sector organisations focusing on economic and financial management; and five years analysing tax policies for pensions, savings & investments, property and charitable donations at HMRC.
CII Regulated Financial Planning Diploma - remote. Completed all RO courses and exams, awaiting outcome of RO 6 exam.
I have a Masters degree in economics
