About

I am an ambitious individual, who at a young age has experienced a lot of different sectors, all with a similar theme running through, namely customer service and relationship building – even in my hobbies and interests. I have had employment since the age of 16, with my experiences lending themselves to a future career within the sales/retail sector. This is where I can engage my proven customer, client and interpersonal relationship skills and contribute to the success and objectives of the organisation I work for.

Client Handler - Preston Insurance Brokers

(2023-04)

An opportunity arose to consider an interest in the insurance industry, following a couple job opportunities that were presented to me. This was working initially as a Trainee Client Handler, to eventually looking after my own book of Clients. The insurance placed was for commercial/business only, a mix of trades and occupations, size and types.

I am responsible for the annual renewal of my Clients' policies, which involves getting to know each business inside out and identifying the risks each business is exposed to, with subsequent recommendation of the insurance products they can purchase to protect their business. I also help on obtaining quotes for new business and cross-sell appropriate and applicable policies to both my existing and prospective Clients. The part of the role I enjoy the most is the building of the relationship with the Client, getting to know them personally and the ins and outs of their business.
