I am currently an NHS Podiatrist and Wound Care Specialist, and I also run my own business. Previously I was a CYP and Health and Social Care Assessor. This blend of NHS and entrepreneurial experience has honed my skills in patient-centred care, professional development, and independent service management. I am passionate about teaching and mentoring, using my clinical knowledge and professional experience to support learners in achieving competence and confidence.
I am an NHS Podiatrist and Wound Care Specialist with extensive experience delivering high-quality patient-centred care, including wound management, diabetic foot care, minor surgery, and multidisciplinary collaboration. I also run my own business, Twilight Podiatry, providing domiciliary podiatry services, managing patient care independently, and developing both clinical and business skills.
Previously, I worked as a Health and Social Care and Children & Young People Assessor and Tutor, delivering training, conducting assessments, and performing internal quality assurance for Level 2–5 vocational qualifications. Across all roles, I am passionate about mentoring, professional development, and supporting learners and patients to achieve confidence and competence.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry (First Class) from the University of Wolverhampton, with comprehensive training in wound care, diabetic foot management, biomechanical assessments, and minor surgery. I also have a BA (Hons) in Social Care, Criminology & Criminal Justice, which provides a strong foundation in health and social care practice.
In addition, I hold professional teaching and assessor qualifications, including Award in Education and Training (AET) Level 3, Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) Level 3, and Certificate in Leading Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Level 4, equipping me to train, assess, and mentor learners effectively.
