Hannah Abbotts

I am very passionate about helping others and really strive to see progression. I am a mother of two wonderful girls who I love helping to develop into their best self's. As a mentor, I strive to be open-minded, learn from my mentees, and accept different opinions.

I always work towards creating a positive environment for all, by discussing a range of diversity, equity, and inclusion of relvant topics .Since working with children in my current job as class leader and previous role as play worker, I knew my future career would be to work with children, which I can help and support. I am very good at communicating with various different people. I'm very open to helping people in various ways.

I am a very creative person, and I always try to bring that into most of my tasks. I strive to achieve my tasks always to the best of my ability, I'm always keen to go above and beyond to find a resolution to get that rewarding feeling to know I have successfully achieved what I wanted too. I am able to listen and be someone that people can trust and feel like they can talk to.

I have made some lovely relationships with the families and the wonderful children in my current job. I am now looking to expand my career to the next level and having being someone who struggled for many years inschool as I never had any support as I didn't have any recognition until I did my gcse mock, they suggested I was dyslexic but hadn't been picked up I was looking to fail in most things, however with extra help an support of extra time and my own dedication to ensure I revised everyday at home with trying many different techniques I ended up passing all my exams and aswell as making my self so proud I got awarded for the recognition in my school that I was most achieved in my year for my determination. I know I would love to help others feel that feeling to be proud of their achievements and success.

I really can't wait to work within a school with I can grown with an continue to progress my career.
