I am a recently qualified Engineer Officer of the Watch, that has graduated with a Professional Diploma in Marine Engineering with Management and holds a UK MCA EOOW Motor Unlimited CoC (III/1).
I have just finished my three-year cadetship through Clyde Marine Training and sponsorship with Subsea 7 as an Engineer Cadet. During my cadetship at sea, I gained practical experience and learned about mechanical and electrical systems onboard multiple types of vessels such as Pipe-lay, DSV and Constructional/Flex-lay. I worked as part of a team of experienced senior engineers, assisting with maintaining and repairing various machinery onboard regularly, which has enhanced my practical skills and knowledge significantly.
I have a SPD/HND qualification for Marine Engineering in City of Glasgow College which was a three year course that I have just graduated from.
