A8 ward is a 34 bedded ward specialising in acute medicine and Renal conditions. We provide acute Haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and renal biopsies on the ward. The ward is fast paced and can be challenging but also exciting to work on, with so many opportunities to develop your clinical skills caring for acutely unwell patients. Our team is hard working, positive and friendly. We work together as a team and we pride ourselves on going that "extra mile" for our patients.

Healthcare Professional (Fundamental Care) - A8 Ward The post holder will be enthusiastic about delivering high quality fundamental care to patients under the guidance of a Registered Practitioner in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner.

• Acting always in the patient's best interests
• Protecting and maintaining the patient's privacy and dignity at all times
• Providing individualised care respecting personal beliefs and preferences
• Alerting the Registered Practitioner to any change or concern relating to the welfare of a patient in a timely manner
• This role includes a mixture of night shifts, day shifts, and weekends to meet the needs of our service
