Currently leading and teaching Reception in a four-form entry London primary school, I am looking for a role which enables me to continue to develop my leadership skills. I have been involved in curriculum development within EYFS and taken an active role on whole school projects such as the implementation of a new phonics scheme, OPAL and worked closely with the SENDCo in order to secure positive outcomes for all our pupils. I feel that, over my almost 10 year career, I have grown in confidence and knowledge.
The completion of my masters qualification in Early Years Education provides me with a specific understanding of the EYFS but also served to bring me up to date with research in many current debates surrounding broader topics such as leadership, assessment and parent partnerships. I am keen to share this knowledge and tackle a new challenge.
