I am an accomplished writer, editor, publisher and marketing coordinator who has developed a sharp eye for detail, copyediting, copywriting, publishing and administrative tasks, which I have used to my advantage to become a hardworking, reliable and confident employee.

I have worked for Allied Universal Compliance & Investigations since 2015 as a shared services specialist for eight years and as a marketing coordinator for the past two years. In my current role as a marketing coordinator, I sit within the marketing team as B2B content specialist, writing content for requests for proposals, bids, presentations, social media posts, website creation, newsletters, email campaigns, blog posts, advertisements including commercial scripts and graphics and internal communications. As a shared services specialist, I worked in conjunction with case managers to successfully edit and process investigative reports written by private investigators.

I successfully met strict deadlines and client satisfaction, and I liaised with investigators and clients to ensure my work met internal and external standards. I handled confidential information with trust and ranked in the top three of specialists; my work was routinely above benchmark.

Additionally, I was the managing editor of a University's yearly anthology, wherein I oversaw the entire process of publishing the anthology; made sure production was on track; organised staff meetings; scheduled plans for contributors; took on any task that facilitated communication and organisation; finalised the production schedule, set up a shared OneDrive and logged and received submissions; oversaw the development of several components of the anthology, including the front and back matter, the order of the anthology and the copyright page and proofread, including printing proofs, and assigned proofing sections to other team members whilst leading the proofs discussion.

I hold a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from City, University of London, where I graduated with distinction; I also hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and a Certificate of Publishing from the University of North Carolina.
