I studied Event Management at University, however since working at Momentum Worldwide, I have developed an interest in Marketing. Working closely for one of the world’s largest technology companies, Microsoft, I have learnt so much about the importance of Marketing, and my passion for the industry has developed over the past year. I have worked as an Event and Marketing Coordinator for Microsoft for over a year, and I am looking to continue my career within an event and marketing position.
During my time within Events and Marketing, I have liaised with clients/stakeholders/brands. My primary goal at my current job is to promote our Immersion Workshops to eligible partners and onboard them onto our programs. I have developed strong working relationships with both the client at Microsoft and the partners that I work with. Throughout my day to day, I analyse the performance of digital marketing and find ways of how we, as a company, can better our workshops. I support wider team with event marketing (demand generation), registration page setup and event communications. I also measure the performance of our workshops by analysing reports and communicating the strengths and weaknesses through weekly syncs. This helps us to establish where we need to improve and where we are performing successfully.
I studied Events Management at Bournemouth University and I have worked within the events and marketing industry for 2 years. I currently work as events and marketing coordinator for Momentum worldwide, on the Microsoft Account. During my day to day, I coordinate logistics for all Microsoft Immersion workshops, and operate around 25 workshops per quarter. I liaise with both clients and existing partners from Microsoft, building strong relationships and making sure all workshops run smoothly. Alongside the events element, I support the wider team with marketing, such as email marketing and demand and lead generation. I analyse and report on event data post event, and provide detailed wrap-ups for all workshops. In my previous job, I worked on event websites and I built and designed them for every event we planned and delivered. I used a platform called Evessio, and alongside designing the website, I collected agendas, headshots, bios etc. for each event.
