As a store assistant I have experience working on a team to ensure sales targets are met within allocated deadlines and my experience on the shopfloor catering to customers enquiries improved my communication and listening skills allowing me to be confident to clearly communicate ideas with customers & effectively resolve customer issues when they arise such as changes in their requests. Additionally shopfloor experience replenishing stock levels and ensuring items are clean & presentable means I'm aware of the importance of presentation & maintenance especially with showrooms. My experience there helped set the standard for my organisational skills and time management helping me to better manage responsibilities, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Furthermore that experience on the shopfloor was key to strengthening the importance of hygiene such as proper cleaning routines and proper, safe use of equipment to me. This insistence on proper cleanliness and hygiene can be transferred to other workplace environments like the kitchen.
