Daniel Freeman

I have just completed a PhD in British Literature on women’s bodies and mobility as barometers of national identity and nationalism 1750-1850, centering on authors such as Swift, Lady Mary Wortley Montagu, Burke, Wollstonecraft, Charlotte Lennox, Austen, Walter Scott, Thackeray, and Gaskell. I have dedicated myself to literature–it is my life, my passion, and I am looking to make it my career at the right school/academy/college. I have previously tutored for GCSE and ESOL, the latter for a range of clients from different national backgrounds, which has likewise given me experience in and appreciation for the learning process when approached from a diversity of backgrounds.

I have worked as

• -An English tutor/near PhD graduate with a vast and in-depth knowledge of the field and all things related to it
• -ESOL tutor for a wide range of students from different national, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds, both online and in person
• -A cover teacher and invigilator in UK school settings
