About

Qualified Secondary PE Teacher with QTS, a PGCE in Secondary Education and a BA (2:1) in Sports Coaching and Performance. Experienced in teaching KS3 and KS4 PE across a wide range of practical and theoretical areas, including GCSE PE and NCFE Health & Fitness. I have developed strong classroom and behaviour management skills through teaching placements and my role as a Cover Supervisor at The Morley Academy, where I work with a wide range of pupils and abilities.

I have a strong understanding of effective teaching strategies, including clear routines, explicit instruction, questioning, retrieval practice, modelling and adapting lessons to meet individual needs. I am committed to maintaining high expectations while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. I have experience supporting pupils with SEND, EAL and additional learning needs, and understand the importance of Quality First Teaching and appropriate scaffolding.

I am enthusiastic, reliable and approachable, with a particular passion for PE, sport and helping young people develop both physically and personally. I am keen to continue developing as a teacher and contribute positively to the wider life of a school through extracurricular sport and other opportunities.
