Hi my name is Daniel, I am punctual, reliable, honest, flexible and energetic. I have managed to achieve a Jack Petchey award in 2013 for my hardworking and participating in the Sports Educate program which I am still involved in. I have gained confidence and improved my team work skills throughout this program. I want to go into funeral care because I'm a compassionate person and through personal experiences I feel passionate about the role I want to take on.

Doing all aspects of the Funeral Industry transferring deceased from mortuary into our care. Going out on funerals driving limousine or the hearse when required. Also do a 24 hour call out rota and out of hours Chapel visits

As a hospital porter I have transfer patients from A&E to the ward and I have to carry out scheduled oxygen sweep where i remove all the empty portable oxygen cylinders and replace them with full ones and I have to transfer deceased paitents to the mortuary and we have to take blood samples to pathology and we have to attend emergencys.

My job tasks was going to the mortuary where I went to get the deceased from the mortuary and taking it back to the head office where I helped put the deceased in the fridge.

I completed 2 weeks' work experience through my placement at school. I had various tasks which I was happy to do, this included: going to the mortuary many times, I helped on some funerals in laying flowers out and preparing the cars for the day. I helped at the funeral home with preparing coffins and went in the embalming room to watch how they prepare the deceased.
