Having worked in the property industry since I was 18, I am now looking for a new career path.
I have always had an interest in accountancy due to its varying skillset and range of specialities and even took an AS level in accountancy in college. I have an understanding of accounting, including debits, credits & financial accounting, as well as being highly organised. I also feel that the skills I have developed in my existing roles are extremely transferable.
Aside from my daily talks of managing an office, I also work closely with the managing Director and liaising with the accounts department to ensure smooth running and continued profitability of the firm.
I fully understand that any new career will require starting in a trainee position and am fully prepared for this. I am a consistently hard worker and am looking forward to developing a new career.
I would describe myself as a hardworking, driven, self-motivated person with a good work ethic, exceptionally well organised and have a great deal of common sense.
Having worked for many years in the property industry I have developed a high attention for detail as well as an ability to self-evaluate. I have also been heavily involved in giving my clients financial advice and dealt with many aspects of the company structure.
My main responsibilities include the profitability of my offices, as well as being hands on offering a personal service to my clients.
I enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life and helping them in whichever capacity I can.
