Danielle Beard

I work two days a week [Tues & Weds] at the University of Salfords counselling clinic. On a Tuesday morning, I facilitate creative group therapy with ‘Arts for the Blues’; for the remainder of the time, I conduct face-to-face, video, or telephone person-centred counselling appointments. I am looking for a part-time, relevant role to fit alongside this work.

I am a reliable and passionate individual, committed to personal and professional growth. The person-centred approach has shaped my communication style to be calm and accepting. It has enriched my life, helping me become a more fully functioning person. I thrive when given a task with a deadline, but I also understand that teamwork is essential in any business. My collaborative management style and leadership qualities are particularly effective in such environments.

Predicted grade: First-class degree.

• My assignments regularly reached first-grade results with highs of 80%. 

• I chose the expressive therapies module, where my passion and enthusiasm immediately landed me a role on the Arts for The Blues team.
• The University provides supervision while I continue to work towards my 100 hours. 
• Paraphrasing, summarising, observing patterns, and using creative metaphors are skills in which I particularly excel.
