Hospital Porter - Spire Healthcare - Southend

Hospital porter spire Westley I am responsible for the welfare for patients under my care. I take patients to and from theatres. I am responsible for waste, oxygen change and I’m also responsible for the security of the hospital and it’s staff of an evening. I check all rooms, lifts and the perimeter. I set alarms and leave it secure.

A&E Porter - Basildon Hospital

I was responsible for the welfare for all patients in my care under my Portering role. I was also responsible for delivering Drugs, Oxygen, bloods and other hospital equipment to anywhere on the hospital site. I was responsible for portering patients to different departments like CT, X-Ray booking patients into wards and theatre.

I took my job seriously and worked to achieve the best I could everyday. I worked with online programs/courses to progress further and learn more about my job. I attended monthly training schemes. I have also completed First Aid, Oxygen, CPR and blood training as well as Safe guarding of children.

Rapid Hygiene Services.

I was responsible for keeping Office buildings, Police stations and Police yards clean and tidy at all times. It would involve hoovering, dusting, bleaching, deep cleans, jet spraying and clearing rubbish for collection. I also took on the role of Pest Control, cleaning and baiting areas where reports were made. I have had experience in baiting, shooting and putting up bird guards.
