David Burdett

I'm a recent graduate looking to apply the skills that I've developed in a professional environment.

I had professional experience volunteering at the Unleashed Theatre Company, a community theatre company in Torquay that works with vulnerable people, those who have experienced homelessness, are in recovery from addiction, as well as those who struggle with mental health issues and disabilities. My volunteer work for the theatre, working front of house, has enabled me to deliver excellent customer service to the attendees and work in a team with people who have all struggled. My involvement in the productions as an actor has also enabled me to develop solid analytical skills and work both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.

These experiences have honed my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, making me adaptable to diverse work environments.

I have a degree in Film from Falmouth University. This industry-accredited degree has empowered me to identify and develop my knowledge of film studies through lectures, seminars, and screenings, as well as explore filmmaking ideas, technologies, and processes.
