I am polite, caring, punctual, work well alone and as part of a team or helping a colleague. I'm very approachable for customers. I love serving customers, hanging clothes, and putting out stock. At Exmouth m&co which I was in for18yrs until unfortunately it had to close down by administrators.

Ideally I would love to find a similar role but interested in trying other customer and shop related jobs like cafe cofee shop assistant. I have also done voluntary work in 3 childcare settings. I have worked at a primary school breakfast, and after school club for3 yrs , and a couple of residential homes short term.

I started volunteering in Exmouth red cross charity shop in June2023, and I enjoyed it a lot . Assistant manager role came up there, so I applied, and got the job in August. I did the role till end of April but role wasn't fir me.

I decided to stay there as a volunteer running the shop on Sundays which I enjoyed doing when I was assistant manager and i did other days aswell.

Sundays finished when new assistant manager started .

I still enjoy doing volunteering so volunteeer monday afternoons &thursday whole morning sometimes more depending on other volunteers.

Volunteer Shop Assistant at British red cross (2023-06 – Present)

• Keeping shop clean, tidy and stocked.
• Putting out stock and changing displays.
• Hanging stock.
• Going through and sorting donations into types.
• Cover for manager as can do start and end of day till procedures, open and close shop and banking from being a assistant manager there.
• I ran the the shop on sundays from August 2023 to may2024.

Assistant Manager (Full Time) at British Red Cross (2023-08 – 2024-04)

• I assisted my manager with daily, weekly, monthly paperwork and emails.
• Sorting and hanging donations or instore deliveries
• Keeping shop clean, stocked and displays fresh.
• Opening and closing of shop which included sweeping shop floor before next shift and making sure stocks tidy and nothing on floor.
• Organising workload for me and volunteers which I check on regularly.

Sales Advisor at M&Co (2005-06 – 2023-04)

I started off as a stockroom assistant in the afternoons where I carried on sorting, hanging for stockroom or shop floor, tagging, and putting away stock when delivery assistant finished her shift. I stayed doing that but also worked on shop floor as well. Stockroom assistant left then I took on her role doing early mornings, and a few extra hrs.

When stockroom assistant was on holiday I did her shifts. I'd help with displaying stock, tidying stockroom in between serving customers. When M&Co ceased trading in april2023 I started volunteering as sales assistant in red cross charity shop in june/July, and really enjoyed the various tasks I did there,and serving customers.

I worked as assistant manager there from August 2023 to april24 then I decided to become volunteer there and I am still volunteering there on Sundays, I volunteer on other days.
