I am currently a second year student at the University of Leeds studying Business and Spanish. mWith over two years of work experience in customer service, I am very aware of consumer needs. In addition to having English as my native language, I am also fluent in Spanish and am at beginners level with Italian and Portuguese. I am incredibly hard-working and will always put in 100%.
September 2022 to now - I am the president of my university's Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Society and oversee all activities that happen within it. I manage my committee of seven people and assure that all members are enjoying their experience within the society. I also approve requests (for example financial or ideas for events) from both committee members and members of the society as a whole.
June 2021 to now - working as front of house with Brunning & Price. I am the main form of communication between the customer and the company, and provide the high quality customer service that is expected. I am constantly handling cash and working well both individually and as a team in order to succeed in providing a great service. I also completed training in food hygiene and allergies with Brunning & Price in November 2022.
October 2018 to May 2019 - working as a shop assistant within the food department of a Blue Diamond garden centre. I maintained the shop floor whilst performing constant stock rotation where necessary, and also answered any customer queries and questions regarding our products.
June 2018 to July 2018 - I completed two weeks of work experience as a teaching assistant in a school for children with profound multi-sensory disabilities, which I found to be an incredibly rewarding experience. Thinking on my feet, I worked independently and with the support of other teachers in order aid the children to meet their own individual needs. There was a lot of responsibility as if a wrong decision was made, the consequences could be detrimental.
