About

I currently live in Kent, but I am planning on moving to Harwich due to my partners work and family connections.

I have been in employment at Kent County Social Services’ Children and Families Department since 2001 and from June 2025 in Adult Social Care.

Within my time at Kent County Council, I have had many administration roles from being a Personal Assistant to a Service Manager, Teams administrator supporting a large team of social workers, Social Work Assistants and managers and my current role a supervisor, where I currently supervise a team of 4 Business Support Officers however in my previous role within the Adolescent Service I supervised a team of 8 Business Support Officers over 3 services, which were statutory and no statutory with many which were all very busy teams, with lots of timescales and government regulations to work too.

I am able to work under pressure, with multiple deadlines, support a team to work to their best abilities work and work towards renewing and changing process in ln order to make process smoother for colleagues and outcomes for clients better.

I can liaise with stake holders of all levels to ensure everyone’s thoughts are listened too and they feel heard, moving to a positive outcome.

I am quick at learning new database systems and have been the ‘Champion’ when new systems have been implemented in the past and have a good grasp on Microsoft packages.

I have almost completed the Future Management Level 3 Course and would like to have the opportunity to move from being a supervisor to a Management.
