About

I want to be clear from the start – I'm not looking for just another job in hospitality. This is the career I want to build. I'm ready to start from the ground up and work my way through the ranks, learning everything I can along the way. My aim is to gain the training and hands-on experience needed to eventually step into a management position. I'm looking for a company that invests in their people, because I'm ready to invest my time and effort into growing with them for the long haul.

Experience

Restaurant Manager - POCO - Hoole

(2025-06)

I applied to be, and became the restaurant manager of Poco in June 2025, an award winning small plates restaurant in Hoole. Its been open 4 years now, and I have worked there for just under three years, and since August last year I was honoured to watch us win best local produce in a menu and third best small restaurant in Cheshire (Taste Cheshire Awards).

Waiter - POCO

(2023-07 - 2025)

I worked my first shift as a waiter on my 18th birthday in July 2023. I was so excited to learn about the hospitality industry, and in the time I worked there I learned the skill of plate balancing, how to pour a good pint, how to make basic cocktails, and the true passion for service. I fell in love with costumer service. It comes naturally. I was also lucky to watch us win second best small restaurant in Cheshire (Taste Cheshire Awards).

Attractions Assistant - The Ice Cream Farm

(2016 - 2023)

Although this job isn't as relatable to the hospitality industry, it was my first job, at 13, I started on tills learning the common service skill of conversation and leaving an impression on arrival. This was a kids theme park. As I grew up working there I did child safety courses and training with the manager at the time, Darren James. At the age of 17 I was working the attractions with supervision, and working alongside others for private birthday parties of groups of 20 kids at times.
