My primary experience is face-to-face customer service. With 16 years’ of experience, I have learned to always ensure I am approachable and diplomatic no matter the situation. I use the communication skills I have gained in this time to ensure team members are up to date on anything and to help them out where and when appropriate. Primarily I use these skills to handle customer queries and questions. Doing what I can to investigate and resolve any complaints they may have.
Within my current role as field merchandiser, I complete merchandising call-outs where I represent the company on-site and set up and update advertising displays. Within this role, I handle any issues or inquiries from the store and where required I escalate them to HQ. I am also responsible for handing feedback from in store management and passing this on to HQ to improve the company’s offerings in future displays.
I am able to do this by properly organizing my work day and ensuring good time management. My role as a field merchandiser requires me to do call-outs so I am always flexible and cooperative with the store when they need me.
In my spare time, I am a cosplayer and have entered a number of competitions. To create these high-level cosplays, I have to properly multi-task and stay organized within a time frame to ensure the costume is done in time for the convention.
