Im an integrative counsellor, and have been practicing for 3 years now, ive worked with a wide range of settings, from residential, educational and personal home care. Covering presenting issues such as bereavement, depression and anxiety, drug and alcohol related problems, domestic violence and trauma.
Ive worked within the health and social sector now for over 17 years and have a passion for autism.
I completed my degree in 2020 and whilst working towards accreditation I have a few clients I'm currently seeing on a Wednesday and Thursday evening in private practice. I have worked with a wide variety of presenting issues and feel that the skills and knowledge I have experienced would suit the role. I have supported many clients from mental health, clients on the autistic spectrum, and most presently supporting a client through their struggles within the working environment.
Also most recently I had the opportunity to offer short term counselling to students at Birmingham University. This was a temporary position for 3 months. I'm looking for a full time position as at the moment.
I look forward to hearing from you.
From 2016 to 2020 I embarked on a University path to become a counsellor,
I completed a Foundation degree in Integrative counselling at Newman University in 2020
