I am 25 years old and currently live in Chorley, Lancashire. I have a diagnosis of epilepsy but this has not affected me for the last few years and this means I am presently learning to drive. I still live with my parents and have a younger brother who is autistic.
I like to think having a brother with a learning disability gives me a very compassionate nature as well as a lot of patience! Whilst I presently work at a pub in Chorley, this is a zero hours contract position which means I would be available to start immediately. I would welcome the opportunity to become a valued member of your team.
Front of House Staff at Marstons Plc (2023-09 – Present)
I currently work at a public house called The Fieldfare in Chorley. My duties include pulling pints, cleaning and drying glasses and giving out friendly customer service, whether showing excellent telephone manner or direct, face-to-face advice in the restaurant. One customer even said that the pint that I pulled for him was the best bitter he'd ever had.
When I am not working behind the bar, I am out on the floor, helping to serve food and supply customers with essential cutlery and condiments from the kitchen. Whether I am working out front on the bar, on the floor or in the kitchen, I always make sure that I am working at a fast pace, whilst keeping self-motivated and well organised by maintaining good communication with the manager or supervisor in order to support engagement throughout both the front-of and back house staff. It doesn't always go perfectly though, and this is where I need good problem solving skills to make sure that the customers remain satisfied even when things go wrong.
I also need to have good time management skills in order to make sure all of the food and drink is delivered as soon as possible and this is especially important when you are catering for fifty people or more at one time.
Credit Controller at Heskins Ltd. (2025-02 – 2026-01)
I worked for a global company, managing their customers credit and making sure that they delivered their payments on time. One of the best ways to do this was making sure I developed a good relationship with the customers, in order to deliver good customer service. Some of my other duties included answering phone calls and recording payments using an online banking system.
