I am currently a student at The University of Glasgow studying Chemistry and looking for a part time job alongside. I have worked in pubs since the age of 16 and have always enjoyed it, especially when behind the bar. During the summer I will be able to work full time before term begins again.
I currently work at The Silver Plough in Pitton in the University holidays. Here I pull pints and mix cocktails. It is a lovely, friendly village pub. Before this my best experience in hospitality was when I worked full time in a busy London pub during my gap year. The Hollywood Arms in Chelsea was a mix of pub dining, football drinkers and private parties . It taught me how to uphold high standards while in a busy, fast paced environment.
I am currently studying an undergraduate course of Chemistry at the University of Glasgow. At A-levels I got three As in Chemistry, Maths and Art History.
