I am a qualified dance with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I have over six years of teaching experience from the age of 3 years old and upwards. My specialities are in ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, hip-hop, commercial, modern and tap.

I have taught various syllabus including RAD Ballet and ISTD Ballet and Modern.

I have been working at the Deeside Dance School for a long time, starting when I was 14 and only assisting in classes. During my training at The MGA Academy of Performing Arts and since graduating, I have served as a teacher, workshop instructor, choreographer for performances, event coordinator for performances, volunteer and classroom assistant showing a diverse number of ways I can fit into roles to suit what is needed from me. I have also faced these roles in Edinburgh when I was doing my studies and was therefore able to task these skills in a less familiar environment and build trusting relationships with the young students very quickly.

A list of my specific dance teaching experiences is as follow:

• Summer Schools 2020 and 2021 at the Deeside Dance Centre teaching children from the ages of 4 up to 17
• Contemporary classes from 2021 at the Deeside Dance Centre for children aged 6 to 13
• Ballet classes from 2020 at the Deeside Dance Centre for children aged 3 and up
• Musical Theatre workshops including Chicago, Cats, Rock of Ages, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Six the Musical, Thriller and Chorus Line at a variety of schools in the Edinburgh area when I was studying in 2019 to 2021 as well as at the Deeside Dance Centre over a few years

I have completed my BA (Hons) Degree in Dance for Commercial Performance and was awarded a 2:1.
