Ian Sturgeon

I’m a results-driven Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with extensive experience working with listed and privately owned businesses across technology, tech platforms, media, telecommunications, manufacturing and consumer sectors.

My experience spans complex financial reporting, audit and assurance, financial analysis, internal controls and regulatory environments, including both UK and US-listed businesses and experience working with ISA and PCAOB frameworks.

I have a particular interest in technology and innovation, having worked across a range of B2B and B2C technology businesses and TMT engagements. Alongside my client work, I’ve also been involved in leading technology and innovation initiatives, with a focus on how new technologies can improve the way we work and deliver value.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with senior management and finance teams, helping businesses navigate complex financial and reporting matters while bringing a commercial, analytical and pragmatic approach to problem solving.

Alongside my technical background, I enjoy building strong teams and relationships, bringing people together to solve problems, and working collaboratively in fast-moving and evolving environments.
