An experienced property and project manager with a background in hospitality as well as the construction and maintenance of STEM buildings.
After a year in my previous role, following a restructure, I was promoted to manage the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences’ Infrastructure team. This position plays a fundamental role in facilitating the development of the estate, whilst minimising impact on building users.
Besides my full-time job, I operate as a freelance event manager, catering to a diverse range of private events like birthdays and weddings.
I was responsible for the management of facilities, their forward planning, maintenance and development of future building projects for the college of Life and Environmental Sciences. During this time, I also completed the main body of an 18-month degree apprenticeship, balancing my studies and workload to provide a consistent service to the college and continue my professional development.
The Woolsery Project is a hospitality and building regeneration project in North Devon. During my time in position, I played an integral role in the development and implementation of systems and procedures that would support the long-term functionality of the business. I was promoted to manage the admin, housekeeping and maintenance departments which provided me with the skills and experience to contribute to the development of buildings and overall guest experience whilst minimising the impact to the business operations.
