I am an experienced housing professional with over 15+ years’ experience in property and occupancy management within a local authority environment, managing a large portfolio of council-owned properties alongside stakeholder property provider. Including but not limited to conducting viewing to check-out, voids works, managing multiple and compl repairs from start to finished. I have consistently met performance standards and targets.
I have in-depth knowledge of administrative systems, occupancy audits, legal processes, and housing legislation, ensuring accurate record-keeping and full regulatory compliance within temporary accommodation.
I communicate effectively and professionally with tenants, colleagues, shareholders, contractors, and external agencies, including Adult Social Care, Children’s Services, Shelter and St Mungo’s. I have regularly attended services at internal and multi-agency meetings, supporting complex and high-risk clients with needs such as mental health, substance misuse, hoarding, and safeguarding concerns. My experience includes providing clear technical advice, resolving complex occupancy issues, enforcing occupancy conditions, preventing housing fraud, witness statements.
I have provided evidence were required, supported eviction processes when required, always working to sustain occupancies wherever possible. I am confident in analysing performance, managing resources, and prioritising demanding workloads to meet deadlines and KPIs. I am self-motivated, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
I have detailed knowledge of working within a housing environment, occupancy management practices, and compliance standards, supported by extensive practical experience and qualifications. I am flexible, hold a full UK driving licence, allowing me to travel across the service area to carry out visits and inspections.
